David Beach, John Hemphill, Jordan Dean and Jacob Pinion will join the cast of the long-running hit musical Mamma Mia! on June 6 at the Winter Garden Theatre. Beach (Urinetown) returns to the company as Harry Bright. Hemphill will make his Broadway debut as Sam Carmichael after starring in the show’s national tour. Dean (Cymbeline) is set to play groom-to-be Sky, and Pinion will make his Broadway debut as Pepper.
Continuing in principal roles are Lisa Brescia as Donna Sheridan, Patrick Boll as Bill Austin, Liana Hunt as Sophie Sheridan, Judy McLane as Tanya and Jennifer Perry as Rosie.
The Broadway company of Mamma Mia! also features Catherine Ricafort (Ali), Monica Kapoor (Lisa), Andrew Chappelle (Eddie), Meredith Akins, Brent Black, Timothy Booth, Allyson Carr, Felicity Claire, Mark Dancewicz, Michelle Dawson, Stacia Fernandez, Adrienne Jean Fisher, Natalie Gallo, Jon-Erik Goldberg, Tony Gonzalez, Albert Guerzon, Bryan Scott Johnson, Corinne Melançon, Janet Rothermel, Gerard Salvador, Ryan Sander, Sharone Sayegh, Allison Strong, Blake Whyte and Leah Zepel.
Featuring the music of ABBA in a tale of family and friendship set on a Greek isle, Mamma Mia! celebrated its 4,000th performance on May 31 and is now in its tenth year on Broadway.
